HOW TO GET STARTED ………….
These courses cater for all age groups who wish to go boating.

To establish this point of entry, groups or individuals are invited to email Jack Baxter of SAILING YACHTMASTER or call on 0419 959 844 for further information , or to arrange a meeting.
Here the process of formally establishing this entry point : Recognition of Current Competency (RCC) or the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), can be arranged.
Individuals can then embark upon a simple process that formally establishes their level of knowledge, skill and cruising competence and appropriate YACHTING AUSTRALIA CERTIFICATES can be issued.
Depending upon past experience, Sailors can then proceed through the range of courses at their own pace, and to the level of achievement to which they aspire.
BACKGROUND to RECOGNITION OF CURRENT COMPETENCY, which is defined as being:

To achieve RCC for Certificates in the NATIONAL YACHT CRUISING SCHEME it is necessary to establish the level of your previous boating/sailing experience and knowledge.
