Jack draws on his vast experience in competitive racing and cruising in Australian and international waters to offer an unsurpassed level of expertise with all craft and their handling. Sailing Yachtmaster's services include professionally accompanied cruises, international yacht deliveries and a wide range of accredited training courses, from school-based instruction to customised adult courses for all types of yachts and power boats and all competency levels. Courses are delivered at flexible times to suit busy schedules. Jack's own Ben Lexcen-designed 10.5 metre cruiser-racer The Sidewalk Cafe is also available for charter. Jack Baxter Jack Baxter is an internationally recognised competitive sailor and boating professional. A highly respected navigator, he has participated in many Sydney-Hobart yacht races, three America's Cup Challenges and many other international ocean racing events in Australia, the United States and Europe. Jack has also skippered and crewed on scores of pleasure cruises from the south-west coast of Western Australia to the Kimberley, North and East coasts of Australia, Tasmania, New Zealand's Bay of Islands and the Mediterranean. He has held many prominent public positions in the maritime field, including Commodore of Princess Royal Sailing Club, Albany and has been a board member of the Fremantle Maritime Museum . Jack holds a Yachtmaster's Certificate and Yachtmaster Examiner's qualifications and is a qualified teacher with more than 25 years experience. Bringing together his boating and teaching backgrounds, he is renowned for his work as a boating educator in schools, clinics and beginner to advanced sailing education/appreciation programs. His enthusiasm for sailing is contagious and he loves nothing better than sharing his passion before embarking on his next voyage of adventure in exotic locations. |
